My new baby!

Well, he's not *a* baby, just *my* baby. I haven't thought of a name for him yet. I can't believe someone would suddenly just decide they didn't want such a sweet, beautiful bird anymore! There were so many lovely tiels at the bird shop, but I knew he was the one for me when they told me his story. Apparently the previous owners' last bird before him ended up boiled in a spaghetti pot. I'm assuming this was an accident, but obviously these people were very irresponsible. Still, this bird couldn't have been abused because he's very trusting of humans.

Wow! He's absolutely gorgeous! Poor guy, what horrible birdy agents he musta had. Now he has a good home with a caring owner!

Please tell us how the introduction goes with Juju after quarintine. I think they will both be absolutely joyed.

He's already met Juju, actually. I would have loved to quarantine, but Juju's flock calling was getting so unbearable it was like a siren. I was really worried that we were going to have noise complaints from the neighbors in our apartment complex and have to get rid of our birds. :\ I know it's bad not to quarantine, but he was under observation for two months at the bird shop and they're very knowledgeable there. They almost surely would have seen signs of illness by this point if he had anything.

Anyhow, they are...working out their issues. Juju is in love with the new guy but is being a little bit of a butt. Updates on that later.

Juju definitely seems to be the boss, but he's also CRAZY. Or hormonal, most likely. He's become aggressive toward me, and follows the new bird around singing loudly in his ear. But he also acts a little bit aggressive toward the new bird sometimes. He's giving me a headache, honestly. But hopefully he'll settle down and things will improve!

Cinnyluver, Prince is cute. I was also thinking of Moon, though that seems kinda obvious. He actually came with a name, but it's not something I would've picked -- "Chance."
